Research title: Biocompatible polymer brain-implants as traps for invasive glioma cells for new therapeutic applications
My project focuses on the preparation of biocompatible polymer matrix based on FDA approved derivatives such as hyaluronic acid, collagen and evaluation of their properties in vitro and in vivo conditions. The aim of the project is to formulate the matrix to deliver chemo-attractants in concentration gradient and retain chemotherapeutics in the material.
