Research title: The role of latrophilins in leukaemia
Latrophilin, a presynaptic adhesion-GPCR, is involved in synaptic function and has been linked to some neuropsychiatric disorders. However, latrophilins are also expressed in malignant leukocytes, where their role remains unclear. The aim of my project is to understand the physiological functions of latrophilins in leukaemia cells and to use them as biomarkers for diagnosis and treatment of leukaemia.
