Ayesha qualified from King’s College London in 1997. She registered as a pharmacist in 1998 and began working as a Clinical Pharmacists at Barts & the Royal London Hospital. During the same period, she also maintained a number of community pharmacy locum posts at weekends in multiple companies.
In 2000, Ayesha moved to Oxleas NHS Foundation Trust where she obtained post-graduate credentials, including an MSc from School of Pharmacy, University College London. Whilst developing the education and training infra-structure for pharmacy staff at the Trust, she contributed to The Maudsley prescribing guideline and led trust-wide medicine management project with the National Prescribing Centre.
Ayesha joined Medway School of Pharmacy in 2017 as an Oxleas Teacher Practitioner, working two days a week with the Clinical and Professional Practice Team. She also works as a Senior Clinical Pharmacist and Trust Pharmacy Education Programme Director, where she trains pharmacists, doctors, nurses and speaks as a guest lecturer at other institues.back to top
