Ayesha qualified from the School of Pharmacy, Kings College London, in 1997. After registering as a pharmacist in 1998, She worked as a clinical pharmacist at Barts & the Royal London Hospital and in addition maintained a number of community pharmacy locum posts in multiple companies.
In 2000, Ayesha moved to Oxleas NHS Foundation Trust where she obtained post-graduate credentials, including an MSc from School of Pharmacy, London, whilst developing the education and training infra-structure for pharmacy staff at the Trust, contributing to The Maudsley prescribing guideline and leading trust-wide medicine management project with the National Prescribing Centre. Ayesha works as a clinical pharmacist and Trust Pharmacy Education Director, which also includes training doctors, nurses and speaking as guest lecturer.
Ayesha joined the School of Pharmacy as the Oxleas Teacher Practitioner in September, working two days a week in the Clinical and Professional Practice Team.
