Medway School of Pharmacy and students awarded at the UK Life Science Skills Awards
Medway School of Pharmacy was recognised at the 2nd UK Life Sciences Skills Awards, organised by the Sector Skills Council Cogent, and hosted by Dara Ó Briain (top left). Miss Alex Burr (next to Dara, with award) employed by FujiFilm Diosynth Biotechnologies, and Mr Joshua Fitzgerald (middle left) employed by GSK, both students of the School’s Fd Sc in Applied Bioscience Technology, received winner and runner-up awards in the Higher Apprentice of the Year category, respectively. Dr Scott Wildman (bottom panel left), Director of Learning and Teaching, accepted a finalist award on behalf of the School for Provider of the Year.
Medway School of Pharmacy’s 3-year, part-time, e-learning Fd Sc in Applied Bioscience Technology contributes to a Higher Level Apprenticeship in Life Sciences, offering employers work-based solutions for workforce development and training.
