"The cognitive pharmaceutical services in the world"
Dr Andrea Manfrin gives lecture at the Polish Pharmacists Scientific Congress 2015
Earlier this year Dr Andrea Manfrin was invited as keynote speaker to the first Polish Pharmacists Scientific congress organised by the Polish Pharmaceutical Society: Pharmacy 21. Pharmacists in Health Care.
Dr Manfrin gave two lectures. The first talk covered the definitions of cognitive pharmaceutical services (CPS), their hierarchical classification, examples of CPS around the world, CPS provided in EU and the introduction of the first CPS in Italy and the process of research and development introduced by the Italian Pharmacists’ Federation (FOFI). The second talk summarised differences that he has encountered working as a community pharmacist across three different countries and gave suggestions to his “younger colleagues” who are willing to travel and work abroad.
Dr Manfrin explained that “Everything went really well, there was lots of networking activity and I had a television interview. Everyone seemed very interested in my personal experiences and what Medway School of Pharmacy does”.
