New Biosciences lecturer at Medway
New Lecturer in Biological Sciences joins the Medway School of Pharmacy
Medway School of Pharmacy has appointed an additional senior lecturer to its team who brings further expertise to the Biological Sciences group.
Scott Wildman joins the School as a Senior Lecturer in Biological Sciences after a brief spell as a Senior Lecturer in Pharmaceutical Sciences at London Metropolitan University (2011). Prior to this he was a Lecturer, then Senior Lecturer, in Physiology and Pharmacology at the Royal Veterinary College (2007-2011). Prior to this he held a 3-year British Heart Foundation (BHF) Research Fellowship at UCL, and was a post-doctoral researcher at Johns Hopkins University (Maryland, USA), UCL, and Imperial College London. Scott was awarded a PhD in Neuroscience in 1999 from UCL and graduated with a BSc (Hons) in Pharmacology from The University of Sunderland in 1995. Scott’s research focuses on urinary system physiology and pharmacology, and he brings research grants to the School from the Wellcome Trust, BBSRC and a number of pharmaceutical industry collaborators. He is currently an Associate Editor of the Nephron Physiology Journal, and holds an Honorary Senior Lectureship in the Centre for Nephrology, UCL.
