Students work (unpaid) in a pharmacy for one day a week and for a one week block per term during two terms. Placements can be nominated by the student, subject to School approval, though are usually allocated by the School. Travel to the placements is re-imbursed at public transport rates by the School.

Features
Students aspiring to study pharmacy who may have done less well at their A levels (CCC vs BBB) at first sitting, can opt to take the foundation degree route to demonstrate that they have a solid grounding in science to sustain them through the MPharm programme.
