Continuing student re-registration
Dear Students
We hope you have enjoyed your summer break and are looking forward to returning for another academic session.
As you are aware, your Pharmacy Programme is run jointly by the University of Greenwich and the University of Kent. So far all administrative and support services have been provided by the University of Greenwich as the Primary Administering University (PAU). At the beginning of next term the University of Kent takes on this role for the next five years. For the purposes of services relating to registration, induction, your resource card, student records queries, student finance, fees and bursaries, learning and study support, careers and counselling advice and other more general support you should seek out the services provided by the University of Kent at Medway rather than go to the Student Centre in Blake Building.
I wish you every success in your future studies
Below is some information to help you with the transition from Greenwich to Kent:

For those students who have recently successfully completed the Foundation degree in Pharmacy Practice and are now progressing onto Stage 2 of the Master of Pharmacy, the University of Kent will assign you a new ID and you will need to claim a new Kent IT account, enrolment for these students only is done via: http://www.kent.ac.uk/gettingstarted/enrol.html.
The University of Kent would like to invite you to a Welcome Event on 30th September 2009 in the Pilkington Building open space from 1pm. After a brief introduction you will be able to discuss any queries you may have with the staff that can provide you with support in claiming IT accounts, registering online, collecting ID cards and paying your fees.
Administration at the University of Kent is split into two sections:
-
Central Administration - located in the Medway Building will deal with finance and ID cards.
-
Student Academic Administration is located on the ground floor of the Gillingham building where all general liaison regarding your course and study at the University can be accessed, for example; student counselling and dyslexia support. If however you are unsure of where to go, the team will be happy to help.
We look forward to seeing you in September, if you have any queries, please do not hesitate to contact us
All the Medway School of Pharmacy staff are here to help you as always, please feel free to contact any of us.
We were delighted to get to the top institution score in this year’s NSS and believe this is a reflection of the caring and supportive environment we always strive to provide.
