Representation
UMSA is the representative body and service provider for all students studying at the Chatham Maritime campus which values the needs and interests of its members.
You are automatically a member of the association if you are a registered student of the University of Greenwich and University of Kent which incorporates the Medway School of Pharmacy, Canterbury Christ Church University or Mid Kent College. The association exists to ensure that you make the most out of your time at university. The association has grown into a successful organisation in a very short time with numerous societies, award winning sports teams, facilities on campus and an executive committee who are devoted to making sure that your university experience is unforgettable.
UMSA is a democratic organisation and, to provide a true voice for the students, a number of student officers are elected each year to form an executive committee. There are positions for Welfare and Education, Student Activities, General Secretary and Mid-Kent College Officer.
