Graduation

University students made history on Friday (11 July 2008) at Medway School of Pharmacy’s graduation ceremony.

The event, held at the Universities at Medway Campus in Chatham Maritime, saw the graduation of the School's first group of students studying for the Master of Pharmacy (MPharm) degree. Eileen Fofung was presented with the Best Student Award. Foundation degree and postgraduate students at Medway School of Pharmacy also received their awards.

The Ceremony also conferred the School’s first awards of the Doctor of Philosophy on Alistair MacLaren with his thesis entitled: ‘A Randomised Controlled Trial comparing two models of medication review in Older Patients in a Community Pharmacy Setting’, and Abdul Wahid Mohammad with his thesis entitled: ‘Establishing an Evidence Base for Medicines Use Review: the development and evaluation of methodologies to assess the impact of Medicines Use Review in practice’.
