MPSA’s inaugural Pharmacy Ball

Friday 20th March 2009 saw yet another major milestone for Medway Pharmacy Students’ Association with the MPSA’s inaugural Pharmacy Ball taking place.
The scene was set in the Corn Exchange Rochester for this fantastic event, with over 170 people present the air was static with energy for this masquerade styled event. On arrival the splendidly clad guests were treated to a drinks reception accompanied by the sounds of a live jazz quartet in the reception area. A three course gourmet buffet then followed in the breathtaking Queens Hall.
The participants were entertained by the spectacular magical talents of Mr Spencer Wood, a prominent member of the prestigious magic circle before hitting the dance floor to the sounds of Master of Entertainment DJ’s. An after party at the nearby Casino Rooms in Rochester rounded of a highly memorable event.
The first ever MPSA Pharmacy Ball has truly left a lasting impression, this was evident when the Ball was recently awarded Event of the Year 2009 the Universities at Medway Students’ Association.
Plans are already underway for the MPSA ball in 2010.
