Medway’s first MSc Medicines Management graduate

Kathy Ellis, a master’s student studying for an MSc in Medicines Management was the first graduate from the programme and graduated in July 2009.

Students at Medway School of Pharmacy have rated their education as the very best in the country. The School - which is run jointly by the universities of Greenwich and Kent - topped the table of higher education institutions in the National Student Survey published this month.

At the recent UMSA Societies and Sports Club awards, Pharmacy students scooped numerous awards for their active involvement in the ongoing development of the Medway campus. Each recipient was presented with a handcrafted glass trophy.

Medway Pharmacy Students’ Association recently hosted its very first British Pharmaceutical Students’ Association area conference on Saturday 28th February in the Pilkington building at the Medway campus.

Professor Alistair Mathie (Biological Sciences), together with Professor John Peters (University of Dundee) and Dr Stephen Alexander (University of Nottingham), has been awarded the Rang Prize of the British Pharmacological Society for 2008.
