Medway academics win research award

World Diabetes Day at Medway

To mark World Diabetes Day, Dr. Buge Apampa, Vikesh Kakad, Nalwenga Mutambo, and other fellow colleagues at Medway School of Pharmacy, developed and delivered an awareness campaign for local public, staff and students at Medway Universities on Wednesday 17 November.
Medway School of Pharmacy research uses Diamond Light Source

The Diamond Light Source in Oxfordshire, UK is a government funded synchrotron beam which was opened to users in January 2007. Medway School of Pharmacy lecturer Dr Alison Edwards and her PhD student Emiliana De Santis having been using the light source for their research, and recently won an award for a poster presentation at the first synchrotron user meeting.
